This is a collaborative project with IISD and KnowledgeSRL where we conduct a multi-year series of studies for India that aim to estimate “how much support should be provided” for certain clean technologies. The study aims to inform public financial flows needed to achieve India’s energy targets. The study focuses on identifying precise recommendations for the right level of support to achieve India’s ambitious targets for clean energy, moving from a simple “descriptive” summary of support levels as they are today, towards a set of recommendations for how exactly they can be better aligned with stated policy objectives.
