We are looking for candidates with experience in air pollution studies to help in developing clean air action plans. The candidate should be able to perform statistical analysis, develop/use mathematical models, and be familiar with key economic terms. She/he should have experience in analysing and visualising data that can lead to actionable insights.

Responsibilities
· Collect and analyse different types of pollution-related data sets ( e.g., emission factors, activity data, geolocation, etc.).
· Participate in relevant conferences, workshops, and training programmes, as needed.
· Assist senior team members in proposal writing, report writing, and project development activities.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Science, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering (in an area related to air pollution, atmospheric chemistry, environmental science or equivalent).
· Interest in and basic understanding of different aspects of air pollution.
Experience
· Two years of relevant work experience in air-pollution studies.
Skill Set
Essential
· Strong research skills with good written and oral communication skills.
· Knowledge and demonstrable experience in programmatic data analysis (e.g., Python or R).
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
· Good analytical skills (review data, observe patterns, and draw logical conclusions)
Good to have
· Prior working experience in GIS tools like ArcGIS or QGIS.
· Knowledge of data-analysis methods like exploratory analysis and inferential analysis.
· Working knowledge of cost-benefit analysis of air-pollution control measures.
