Report Launch - Comprehensive Clean Air Action Plan for the City of Patna
The Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, Shri Sushil Kumar Modi, launched the Patna Clean Air Action Plan (PCAAP) on 23 November 2019. Bihar State Pollution Control Board (BSPCB) has adopted the action plan developed by the Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP) and Urban Emissions. The launch programme was organised by the Centre for Environment, Energy and Climate Change at the Asian Development Research Institute (CEECC, ADRI), Patna. This initiative has been supported by the Bloomberg Philanthropies and Shakti Sustainable Energy Foundation (SSEF).

Feeder-Wise Revenue Analysis and Monitoring of Energy Sales (FRAMES)
The Indian power-distribution sector has been plagued with inherent issues of high aggregate technical and commercial (AT&C) losses and a wide gap between the cost incurred and revenue realised. Most distribution companies (DISCOMs) continue to struggle with these issues even after the implementation of Ujwal DISCOM Assurance Yojana (UDAY), launched for the revival of the distribution sector. This study puts forth a framework developed with the intention to ameliorate the position of Indian DISCOMS.

The year-long study identified source-specific control measures (CMs) and assessed their technological and economic feasibility for implementation. The study included the development of an emission inventory for Patna and several focused group discussions with stakeholders to understand the pollution landscape.
Thorium-Utilisation Pathways for India
- For India, thorium-based nuclear power has been the endgame, and will form the final phase of the three-stage Indian nuclear programme for energy security developed by Dr Homi J. Bhabha in the 1950s. This report assesses strategies for thorium adoption in the Indian nuclear power sector.
Rectangular Spiral Inspired Approach for Estimating Area of Solar Photovoltaic Plants in India
This work proposes a method which can provide a rational area estimate of a PV plant factoring sizing considerations from electrical, maintenance, and shading aspects.
