Our Impact

Empowering Change with Smarter, Greener Energy

The group works to reduce fossil fuel reliance by integrating renewables and minimising energy waste. It supports rooftop solar adoption, maps renewable potential, and helps MSMEs cut energy use and emissions.

Contribution to the Grand Challenges

Supporting India’s Green Energy Transition, our group focuses on reducing fossil fuel dependence in key energy-consuming sectors such as industry, power, and buildings. We work closely with utilities to accelerate rooftop solar adoption and assess renewable energy integration strategies across urban and rural landscapes. Our research includes mapping renewable energy potential nationwide and analysing energy use in MSMEs to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and fuel switching. By promoting decentralised renewables and reducing energy waste, we help lower emissions, improve energy access, and support economic resilience. Our work ensures that clean energy pathways are practical, inclusive, and future-ready.
