Dr Mekala Srikanth is a Senior Associate in the Adaption and Risk Analysis group at CSTEP.
He holds a Doctoral degree from Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, Haryana. He completed his MSc in Horticulture (Vegetable Science) from Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth (PDKV), Akola, Maharashtra, and his BSc in Horticulture from the University of Horticultural Sciences, Bagalkot, Karnataka. He has also done a specialised training course in food safety and security at Tel Aviv University, Israel.
Prior to joining CSTEP, he worked as an Agronomy Research Specialist at Cadsys-Agmatix (an Israel-based agritech company) and as a Consultant at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE).
His areas of interest include sustainable agriculture, agroclimatic research, technological innovation in agronomy, and policy and extension services.
