Dr Suresh NS

Senior Research Scientist

Dr Suresh NS is a Senior Research Scientist at CSTEP. He heads the Strategic Initiatives group, which focuses on areas such as carbon capture and utilisation, green hydrogen, industrial decarbonisation through renewables, and climate-smart agriculture.

 

He holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru. He has completed his Master’s in Chemical Engineering with specialisation in fuel cells from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and his BTech in Chemical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, Andhra Pradesh.

 

He is experienced in energy modelling, energy management, technology and resource assessment, energy storage, and energy efficiency pertaining to both renewable and conventional energy sources. His expertise includes conceptual design, process modelling and simulation, optimisation, techno-economic and sustainability assessment studies, policy assessment, performing feasibility studies, preparation of detailed project reports, and project management in energy-related projects.
