Upasna Ranjan is a Senior Analyst in the Pathways and Forecasting team of the Climate, Environment and Sustainability sector at CSTEP.

She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Technology in Energy Engineering from the Central University of Jharkhand.

Prior to joining CSTEP, she worked as Research Assistant at National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore, and as Project Assistant at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

Her areas of interest include renewable energy, sustainability, and power sector policies.
