The studies—‘Emission Inventory and Pollution Reduction Strategies for Bengaluru’ and ‘Identification of Polluting Sources for Bengaluru’— identified polluting sources/activities or hotspots, which has been a significant challenge for policymakers working in the air pollution sector.
