We are seeking aspiring researchers with experience in air pollution research. Past participation in air quality field campaigns and hands-on experience in instrumentation set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting strongly preferred. Knowledge of fundamentals of air quality and statistical methods is essential.
Responsibilities
· Support CSTEP researchers in instrumentation set-up, operation, and maintenance of reference monitors (AQMS), research equipment (AMS/ACSM), and low-cost sensors.
· Perform air-quality data analysis and visualisation under the mentorship of CSTEP researchers.
· Contribute to report writing and capacity-building workshops.
· Travel to field sites for instrument set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting, as needed.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s in engineering or sciences; Master’s in technology or engineering preferred
Experience
· Minimum 2 years of experience in air pollution research.
Skills Required
· Hands-on experience in operating and maintaining AMS/ACSM/similar research instruments and/or large networks of low-cost sensors.
· Proficient in Python or R or Igor Pro for data analysis and visualisation.
