Senior Policy Specialist
Dr Anjali Taneja is Senior Policy Specialist and heads the Sustainability group within the Climate, Environment and Sustainability sector at CSTEP.
She holds a PhD in International Economics and Public Policy from JNU, New Delhi. She completed her post-graduation and graduation in Economics from JNU and Delhi University, respectively.
Dr Taneja previously led Science Policy as well as Research & Development initiatives as an Associate Director at Ashoka University. She has nearly 15 years of professional experience in evidence-based research and policy enrichment across different institutions in India and abroad. She has worked with the Government of India, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICC) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), besides Ashoka University, over the years.
Her research interests include circular economy, sustainable development, rural regeneration, economic growth, technology transformation, human development, climate change, and energy transition.
