We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to work on technology assessments. As a Senior Research Scientist, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating current and emerging technologies in energy, climate, and sustainability domains.
Responsibilities
Research
- Recognising and prioritising crucial energy/climate/ sustainability technology trends.
- Formulating research goals and innovative study paths in the chosen areas.
- Generating ideas and establishing research projects.
- Undertaking high-quality research and authoring research reports, briefs, and presentations.
- Developing strategies to align with organisation’s vision/mission.
Engagement
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders among the technology-, research-, and policy-oriented communities.
- Representing the organisation at conferences, workshops, and other events.
Qualifications
Master's or higher degree in a relevant field, such as technology, science, engineering or public policy.
Experience
- 15 or more years of experience in technology research and analysis.
- Proven expertise in the developing and implementing projects of interdisciplinary in nature.
Skill Set
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their potential impacts.
- Diversified exposure in industry or technologies.
- Proven track record of publishing research reports, articles, or other scholarly work.
- Strong network of contacts in the technology and research communities.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
