Past Board Member
Dr Anshu Bharadwaj is a former member of the Indian Administrative Services (1992 batch, Karnataka) and worked with the Government of Karnataka in various capacities. He holds a PhD from the Departments of Engineering and Public Policy and Mechanical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh). He also has a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur and a PGDM from IIM Calcutta.
His research interests lie in exploring technology and policy solutions for India's clean energy sector. He specialises in computational modelling of energy systems. He is a key member of several national- and state-level committees such as the Expert Group on Low Carbon Strategies for Inclusive Growth (spearheaded by NITI Aayog). He is also an Associate Adjunct Professor (Engineering and Public Policy) at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh.
